Al-Qaseem is one of the administrative provinces of Saudi Arabia, with its headquarters in Buraidah. The governor of the region is Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The population is estimated to 1,016,756 and an area of 65,000 km².
It is famous for its agricultural production of dates, vegetables and fruits. The capital is Buraidah, which the largest city in the region in terms of area and population.
Province Emirate
The emirate of the region was established in 1326 H., during the unification of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The emirate is linked to the Interior Ministry, and its headquarters is in the city of Buraidah.
